Colorguard Crazy
Practices

Some tips on perfecting your moves and practicing:

1. Practice doesn't start until the first time you get it right. THEN the practice starts.

2. If you're practicing and you only get it right one out of three times, that isn't good enough. You've got to keep practicing until it's consistent! Remember, your fellow guardies are counting on you!

3. If you're having trouble with a certain move or with equipment, ask a veteran or a captain. That's what they're there for, so don't be afraid to ask!

4. Don't settle for rehearsals with your guard. Practice at home especially if you aren't getting something just right. Or get a group of people and practice with them. You don't need your captain or your instructor to do this! And practice for at least half an hour at a time, multiple times per week. This will help you tremendously!
